In this particular example I’m creating this new article using my iPhone while sitting in a restaurant. Instead of using the web front-end to write the article, I’m using the phone’s built-in mail application to send text directly to a shrouded email address configured for the blog. This makes it very fast to post and requires much less mobile resources than a web interface.

You know that smell… it's a sort of residual armpit cloud and you want to fall over into a fetal position. Whoever was in the elevator before you left an unwelcome legacy. Now you've inherited it. Suddenly, reality hits. You're on the way up alone and the elevator funk surrounds you, clings to you. The elevator stops before your floor and that can only mean one thing: More people want to get on. Oh no! They're going to think that you're the source of the putrid smell! You may have a nicely pressed suit on but that smell will turn heads and give everyone the impression that you haven't showered in a week. What bothers me is I can't figure out what would cause such a bad odor that lingers so long in an elevator. It's as if a mist of bacteria actually floats in the air and fills the compartment. Is that possible? In any case, I think next time I'll just take the stairs. I need the exercise anyway!
